Android app privacy policy

This policy covers the Android app “Even or odd week”, published by the publisher of the semaine-paire-impaire.com website. It fits in one sentence: the app does not collect, transmit or sell any data.

No data collected

  • The app does not request Internet access: it cannot send anything, to us or to anyone else.
  • No account, no sign-up, no email address is required.
  • No advertising, no analytics, no trackers.
  • Week numbers and parity are calculated on your phone, from its date and time zone.

What is stored on your phone

Depending on the features you use, the app stores in its private storage, on your phone:

  • custom labels for even and odd weeks (for instance first names);
  • shared custody settings: the parents' first names, rhythm, exchange day;
  • the school holiday zone you chose;
  • your reminder preferences.

We have no access to them. These settings are erased if you uninstall the app or clear its data in Android settings.

Android backup

If your phone's backup is turned on, Android may include these settings in your Google account backup, to restore them on a new device. That backup is managed by Google under its own terms; we have no access to it. You can turn it off in Android settings.

Notifications

Reminders, for instance on the eve of a custody exchange, are scheduled and shown by the phone itself, without going through any server. Android asks for your permission before the first reminder, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Links to the website

Some links in the app open pages of the semaine-paire-impaire.com website in your browser. What you then do on the website is covered by the website's legal notice, not by this policy.

Children

The app is intended for adults, in particular parents organising shared custody. It collects no data about anyone.

Should the app ever process data, this page would be updated, with its new date, before the new version is published. For any question, write to the email address shown on the app's Google Play listing.
