The Even or odd week app for Android
Even or odd week is also an Android app. It answers the same question as this website, without having to open it: on your home screen, a widget shows the week's parity or, once you have set it up, where the children are today.
Where the children are, at a glance
The main screen shows today's parent, the date of the next handover and the current week day by day, each day in the colour of the parent who has the children. Week parity follows the ISO 8601 standard, as on this website: weeks start on Monday.
Your shared custody, as agreed
- both parents' first names, and who has the even weeks;
- the handover day, from Monday to Sunday: the handover takes place in the evening, so that day still counts for the parent who has the children;
- holiday sharing: half and half, one- or two-week blocks, alternating Christmas week;
- one-off exceptions, for a swapped weekend;
- an alert when a year has 53 weeks: weeks 53 and 1 are both odd and the same parent would have the children for fourteen days in a row. This happens at the end of 2026.
Widgets, tile and reminders
Two widgets, a small one and a detailed one with the next handover, a Quick Settings tile, and reminders the day before the handover and on Mondays. School holidays for France (zones A, B and C) are included.
No data collected
The app has no internet access: everything is calculated and stays on your phone. No account, no ads. Details are in the app's privacy policy.
On a computer
The same calculation is available on this website: even or odd week for the current week, and the shared custody schedule to print or add to your calendar.
The app is free and works on Android 8 and later.
